Coaching Supervision

A coaching forum that’s small in numbers but will have huge benefits for leaders in your organisation.

Embedding a coaching culture within an organisation is not something that happens overnight. It takes continuous learning and commitment from leaders, as well as the support of the wider organisation. At Leap, we believe everyone, including ourselves, are a work in progress.

Our collaborative Coaching Supervision forum is a way for those who have completed our Coaching Training to continue to develop their coaching skills, for free. The ongoing conversations give leaders an opportunity to reflect on their work in order to become better leader coaches.

We’re All a Work in Progress

We run our Coaching Supervision forums every other month and limit the numbers to just six coaches along with a Leap Coach to facilitate and guide the conversation.

We find that a smaller group encourages everyone to get involved and share their experiences. A forum will last for around 90 minutes and provide a great peer to peer sounding board. Being a leader and a coach can throw up some challenges, at Leap, we’re here to encourage and help you every step of the way.

The difference between a good coach and a great coach is how much work they do on themselves.

Disrupting Negativity to Amplify Success
These forums help leaders and managers take a step back from their coaching work and gain a broader perspective. The sessions offer support and exploration of tricky situations in a confidential setting. Leaders ask questions, and receive advice, on issues including:
  • “I feel as though a member of my team is giving me lip service as they say the right thing but nothing changes, I’m not sure how to challenge this?”
  • “My sessions are all the same, it’s started to feel like I’m following a script and I can see that my team are getting bored of the same structure. What can I do?”
  • “In my last coaching session, I could feel myself getting wound up. What can I do to stop this?”
  • “I think this person gives their best but it’s not good enough, I really like them and don’t want to rock the boat, I’m stuck!”
  • “I had some feedback that a member of my team doesn’t value my coaching, what can I do differently?”
  • “I tried this, it worked, I’m happy to share.”

It’s integral to us that we’re here to encourage and help leaders, and their organisations, every step of the way. Once your organisation takes part in a Leap Coaching Course we will do everything we can to ensure the learning doesn’t end once the course finishes.
